There are two references to Adam’s wife by name in the Old Testament. The LXX translates the first occurrence (Genesis 3:20) with ζωή (zōḗ, life), and transliterates the second (Genesis 4:1) with Εὔα (Eúa). Both New Testament references (2 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Timothy 2:13) use Εὔα (Eúa).
