Љ, љ (italics: Љ, љ)

1. The fourteenth letter of the Serbian Cyrillic alphabet. Its name is љ (lj) and it has no equivalent in English. It is pronounced by combining the sounds l and y. It is similar to the Spanish ll. It is preceded by Л and followed by М.
