     ה„שעון“ תוכנן והוכן במחלקה להנדפסה גרעינית בטכניון ומכיל שלושה חומרים רדיואקטיביים השונים בקצב ההתפרקות שלהם: הראשון אמריציום־241, המתפרק ומתמעט למחצית הכמות לאחר 458 שנה; השני — פחמן המתמעט למחצית הכמות כעבור 5,680 שנה; והשלישי — ניאוביום־94 המתמעט למחצית כמותו לאחר 20,000 שנה.

     The "clock" was designed and made in the department of nuclear engineering at the Technion and contains three radioactive materials that have different decay rates: the first Americium-241, decays and reduces to half the amount after 458 years; the second – Carbon the reduces to half the amount after the passing of 5680 year; and the third – Niobium-94 that reduces to half its amount after 20,000 year.
