הָשֵׁב • (hashév)
- Masculine singular imperative of הֵשִׁיב (heshív).
- Tanach, Exodus 4:7, with Young's Literal Translation:
- הָשֵׁב יָדְךָ אֶל חֵיקֶךָ
- hashév yad'chá él chekécha
- Put back thy hand unto thy bosom
- infinitive absolute of הֵשִׁיב (heshív).
- Tanach, Exodus 23:4, with translation of the English Standard Version:
- כִּי תִפְגַּע שׁוֹר אֹיִבְךָ […] תֹּעֶה הָשֵׁב תְּשִׁיבֶנּוּ לוֹ
