Inherited from Sanskrit योगक्षेम (yogakṣema, “the security given by possessions, wealth, etc”), from योग (yoga, “junction, work”) + क्षेम (kṣema, “basis, security”). Compare Gujarati જોખમ (jokham), Marathi जोखीम (jokhīm).
