小儿腹泻外敷散

  1. A brownish-yellow powder used in traditional Chinese medicine "to warm the stomach and intestine, to dispel cold and damp, to invigorate the spleen, relieve pain and diarrhea, in the treatment of abdominal pain and diarrhea caused by indigestion, or asthenia-cold of stomach and intestine". It is typically mixed with vinegar and applied on the umbilical region or the "yong-quan" acupoint on the feet of children.
