-нина (-nina) (dual -нинат, plural -нинав'в'и)
- The third person patient suffix, marks the object of the verb.
- пыӈлунин (ʔынпыӄлавул)
- she asked him (the old man)
- ойипльыткунин
- he finished eating it
Usage notes[edit]
- This suffix is used when the subject is the third person singular agent. If the subject is something different the suffixes -на and -тки are used instead.
- When -нина is at the end of a verb, the suffix is reduced to -нин
