Usage notes[edit]

  • (case suffix) Harmonic variants:
    -ból is added to back vowel words. Final -a changes to -á-.
    alma (apple) →‎ Kifogytunk az almából. - We ran out of apples.
    -ből is added to front vowel words. Final -e changes to -é-.
    zene (music) →‎ Kifogytunk az zenéből. - We ran out of music.
