Fix some minor errors
Discussion at the time that this template started categorizing (wherever that was!) indicated afair that it shouldn't do so for Fr, since so very many Fr terms have homophones. If you wish to change this, please bring it up for discussion.

Homophone: {{{1}}}

Use this template under the Pronunciation header to specify homophones for a term.

Parameters

|1= (required)
The language code (see Wiktionary:Languages and Wiktionary:List of languages) of the language of the term and its homophones. The parameter |lang= is a deprecated synonym; please do not use. If this is used, all numbered parameters move down by one.
|2=, |3=, |4=...
One or more homophones to be listed.
|alt1=, |alt2=, |alt3=, ...
Link text for each of the homophones, if different from the entry name. Note that |alt1= corresponds to the first homophone (in |2=), |alt2= corresponds to the second homophone (in |3=), etc.
|tr1=, |tr2=, |tr3=, ...
If necessary transliteration for each of the homophones, some languages are done automatically. Note that |tr1= corresponds to the first homophone (in |2=), |tr2= corresponds to the second homophone (in |3=), etc.
|q1=, |q2=, |q3=, ...
If necessary, qualifiers for each of the homophones. Note that |q1= corresponds to the first homophone (in |2=), |q2= corresponds to the second homophone (in |3=), etc.
|sort=
The category sort key. Usually not needed.

Examples

In the English entry for two:

* {{homophones|en|to|too}}

gives

When available automatic transliteration will be added, e.g. in the Greek entry βάζο (vázo):

* {{homophones|el|βάζω}}

gives

Alternatively transliteration can be added manually, as well as qualification, for each homophone listed. For in the Hebrew entry עת:

* {{homophones|he|עֵט|tr1=et|q1=some qualifier}}

gives

  • Homophones: he, עֵט
