This is a list of hypocoristics for Portuguese given names. Almost any Portuguese name can have a hypocoristic formed by adding/changing the ending to '-inho' for male names and '-inha' for female names. This list tends to exclude these more obvious hypocoristics and focus on other kinds.

Note: In Portuguese, double names or compounds (e.g. Carlos Alberto) can have their own hypocoristics distinct from those for the individual parts (e.g. Cal for Carlos Alberto, but Caco for Carlos and Beto for Alberto).
