Irish From Áras an Uachtaráin, literally the hall of the president.
Proper noun[edit]
- The official residence of the Irish president, situated in Phoenix Park in Dublin.
Usage notes[edit]
Basically the same term is used in both Irish and English, however, the Irish form includes the acute accent over the first and last letter 'A'.
