Moved from WT:RFC#Category:Drugs

As pointed out on WT:RFDO for {{drug}}, in the US drug can mean "medication" and in the UK it doesn't ever (AFAIK). Is there any reason to start a Category:Medications as a parent category for this? I'd say yes, or people are never going to understand what the category means. I certainly don't. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:31, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not as a parent; I think it needs to be a replacement. The term "drug" has too many different common meanings to be a useful category name, IMHO. --EncycloPetey 16:49, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete but not sure what to do with the contents. I bet this drags on until next summer. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:54, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Keep as useful semantic category. Should be implemented with sense-level template {{drug}} or similar. DCDuring TALK 01:17, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not useful, because it's too ambiguous. Mglovesfun (talk) 22:34, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Useful because it identifies a relatively homogeneous class of entries for systematic class-wise improvement. DCDuring TALK 00:12, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good reason to delete it, not keep it. Mglovesfun (talk) 19:46, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kept for no consensus. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:47, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
