Explicit term inclusion

I am not yet familiar with the practice of explicitly including terms in a category page (as opposed to letting the WikiMedia software display the terms when rendering the category page). When should a category explicitly include terms, as occurs on Category:Religion? Rod (A. Smith) 23:50, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

• I don't know that it should at all - but there were plenty there already, so I sought to make the list more thorough. They should all be in the category itself, rather then just on the page. bd2412 T 01:24, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
