When Esperantists talk about the state of things 'in Esperantio' (or Esperantujo), they mean in places where Esperantists gather. Esperanto conferences and Internet forums are imagined to be part of this fictional Esperantoland.
It is comparable to the land of Lojbanistan to Lojbanists.
