Українська: На цьому фото зображена рідкісна європейська норка (Mustela lutreola), критично зникаючий вид, що належить до сімейства кунячих. Цей вид перебуває під високою загрозою в Європі та світі. Європейська норка має велике значення для біорізноманіття та екосистем, де вона живе, але її чисельність зменшилася більш ніж на 90% за останні 150 років. Вид занесений до Червоної книги України як зникаючий. Під час зйомки я спостерігав значну кількість норок у регіоні зйомки (Рівненська область, Сарненський район), до п’яти особин, що свідчить про важливість збереження цих природних середовищ. Згідно з Червоною книгою України, орієнтовно в Україні мешкає 200–300 особин. Основними причинами зміни чисельності є інтенсивна трансформація водно-болотних угідь в процесі їх господарського та рекреаційного використання. Фотографія була зроблена в умовах, що не викликали стресу у тварини, з використанням засідки для мінімізації втручання в природне середовище норки.
English: This photograph captures the rare European mink (Mustela lutreola), a critically endangered species belonging to the mustelid family. It is one of the most threatened mammals in Europe and globally. The European mink plays a crucial role in biodiversity and the ecosystems it inhabits, but its population has declined by over 90% in the last 150 years. The image was taken under conditions that did not cause stress to the animal, using a hide to minimize disturbance to the mink’s natural environment.
