English: Sabellaria alveolata is a segmented annelid that constructs tubes from cemented coarse sand and/or shell material. These tubes, which are often dense and form a characteristic honeycomb structure, can grow to form large reefs several meters wide and one meter deep in intertidal and subtidal environments. |
