愛媛県 西条市 の祭礼「西条祭り」の白木だんじり。 通常、新調した新しいだんじりは 写真のような白木の状態で運行される。 ただし、まれに例外として塗りで新調する町内もある。 白木だんじりは経年変化により風合いが増し、わずかずつ茶色が濃くなっていく。 やがていずれある程度の年数が経過すれば、塗りとするのが一般的である。 |
