  • llevado a París junto a la colección de arte del Infante hacia 1868;
  • pasó a su hijo Luis de Jesús de Borbón y Borbón, duque de Ansola, quien posiblemente lo llevó de vuelta a Madrid;
  • heredado por el hijo de éste, Manfredo de Borbón y Bernaldo de Quirós, duque de Hernani;
  • herederos de éste;
  • Madrid, mercado de arte, 2004.

Observaciones: Subastado en Madrid por la casa Christie’s el 6-10-2004 (venta 7015, lote 78) con estimación de 250.000-350.000 euros y remate de 310.650 euros. Adjudicado por venta telefónica a un comprador particular. En el reverso conserva las marcas de inventario del Infante Sebastián Gabriel. Obra emblemática del arte gallego, es también el cuadro más célebre de Dionisio Fierros.
