Why does this differ from the French pronunciation, and why is the image used on requests for English pronunciation? Dbfirs 08:29, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

@dbfirs The first I can't answer, but I infer from talk:ébauche that the French Wiktionary used it to mark stubs (which after are a kind of draft, which ébauche translates as) and presumably English Wiktionary adapted it for missing information (such as pronunciation) thereafter.
