Quotation[edit]

The problem with citing that quote is that:

  • a. although it is the opening of The Waste Land, it was originally written by Petronius
  • b. it is representative of the Ancient Greek language, not the modern Greek language.

Could another example be found? Medellia 15:10, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's hard to tell if it's truly contemporaneous - but who cares? It's a cool quote, and both the modern and Ancient Greek are legitimate terms. --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:42, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
