Additional definition?

Can it also mean "brown," as in 玄米? 24.93.170.200 05:08, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

In the case of Japanese, I would say yes (at least for 玄米). In Mandarin, I would not say that brown is a commonly accepted meaning, other than in the generic sense of something being dark. -- A-cai 12:47, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
