Why are there two very similar translations? — This unsigned comment was added by 68.6.166.155 (talk).
- The first (ducks, swan) is what you would translate it to as an idiom in English. (see for example, in the first paragraph); the second is the literal meaning: it refers to chickens (鶏)and a crane (鶴). Robert Ullmann 07:52, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
