This looks like a consequence of the nihilistic/anarchistic elimination of the much-reviled, but sorely missed, attestable-use criterion for proper nouns: Nobody seems to want to delete such entries, develop criteria for including them, provide a rationale for definitions of them, or just clean them up. As DCDuring notes, the CFI no longer discuss such entries except to say "there is no agreement on precise, all-encompassing rules for deciding" whether to keep them. Three people, above, say to delete, with Equinox offering a (IMO not very strong) reason; I'll make it four. Only one says to keep, also offering a (IMO not very strong) reason.
