Countability[edit]
I don't think this word is grammatically uncountable—there just happens to be only one Atkins diet around. But there isn't anything wrong with us speaking of variant Atkins diets, or hypothetical unpublished Atkins diets. —Muke Tever 17:09, 17 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Trademarks[edit]
I noticed from an ad I saw today that "Atkins" is a trademark (TM rather than (R)). Are the synonyms trademarks too? -- Paul G 19:28, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)
