I am applying for a job in the Netherlands. The online form contains the acronym LBO referring to an educational level, but LBO does not appear in babelfish or here. Can someone add what that means in Dutch?

  • It stands for "lager beroepsonderwijs". My Dutch is not great, but I think this means something like "primary vocational education" and it appears to be some kind of basic-level training for students who wish to work in some practical (non-academic) field. Ƿidsiþ 14:50, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
