Spelling of name of language[edit]
I have just started a new Wikipedia article, w:Romániço, about the language. According to the two external links which I have provided there by this time, the name of the language is spelled with a cedilla under the "c". -- Wavelength 23:49, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

- The website Romániço spells the name of the language "Romániço" in English, in Romániço, and in Interlingua; and "Romanico" in Esperanto. It appears to me that any other spelling in English is a mistake. -- Wavelength 00:58, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
According to the introduction at Blueprints for Babel: Romániço, the creators of the language called it originally "Romanico" and later "Romániço". Other spelling differences can be seen between Onomástico and Onomastikana Nominaro Románica. (The two latter pages link respectively to Romániço and Blueprints for Babel: Romániço, but I have been unsuccessful in my search for reverse links: a link from Romániço to Onomástico and a link from Blueprints for Babel: Romániço to Onomastikana Nominaro Románica). -- Wavelength 18:49, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Alphabet and pronunciation[edit]
The Romániço alphabet consists of 25 letters, the letters of the English alphabet except the letter k. The official website states: "In earlier days, c represented [ʦ] in all positions, k [k] in all positions, which made spelling easier but more artificial-looking: il Greko parlen il Grekenso, il Franco parlen il Francenso instead of il Greco parlen il Grequenso, il Franço/Franczo parlen il Francenso." -- Wavelength 00:39, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
