Ancient Greek[edit]

@Erutuon, could you check the grc bits in the etymology? Can it be decomposed? I just copied it from w:de:Apophänie. thanks. – Jberkel 16:38, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jberkel: The Ancient Greek verb is composed of ἀπο- (apo-) and φαίνω (phaínō), and verbs are cited in the first-person singular present indicative. I can make those changes. — Eru·tuon 21:26, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Erutuon: thanks, is ἀπο- (apo-) just used for emphasis here? yes, please go ahead and make the changes. – Jberkel 21:34, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jberkel: Yeah, either that or it adds no discernible meaning. That's often the case. — Eru·tuon 21:54, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
