- Keep all; erring on the side of. See the citations at at one stroke, sense 2. Admitted, dictionaries tend not to have this; here is one find that does have one of the terms: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/at-a-or-one-stroke . Most dictionaries also lack in one fell swoop as per “in one fell swoop”, in OneLook Dictionary Search.; I don't see how "in one fell swoop" is supposed to be transparent from the parts, or how a non-native speaker is supposed to know you actually say this. --Dan Polansky (talk) 06:42, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
