Correct spelling

An internet link seems to have a mis-transcription of this quote. The following is what I believe to be the correct version, but perhaps someone could check in a printed copy?

1. • 1884, Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Chapter VIII:

     "Doan' hurt me--don't! I hain't ever done no harm to a ghos'. I awluz liked dead people, en done all I could for 'em. You go en git in de river agin, whah you b'longs, en doan' do nuffn to Ole Jim, 'at 'uz awluz yo' fren'."

I might be wrong about this. Perhaps Mark Twain really did write alwuz for the stressed form, in which case the cite really should be:
