Not a word[edit]

I don't believe this is a word; the term is birth date. See [1]. 24.29.228.33 20:43, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are 458 uses of birthdate in published books archived by Google. I guess it is a word.—msh210 20:50, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reference with some authority? Though not unabridged, this word does NOT appear in: 1. Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition, 2005. 2. American Heritage Dictionary, Fourth Edition, May 2007. Thank you. Stranger in a S.L. (talk) 22:57, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dunno, but we don't always follow other dictionaries. (Then we'd never be better than other dictionaries!) We go by actual use of the word: see WT:ATTEST.—msh210 (talk) 14:52, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
