Ety split[edit]

English needs split by etymology. Equinox 20:45, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In a google search for both boloed and satisfaction (two words), there is a reference to Wiktionary and both references list this sentence in their reference paragraph: Selwyn, sitting up rumpled and cross-legged on the floor, after having boloed Drina to everybody's exquisite satisfaction, looked around at the sudden ... Yet neither entry in Wiktionary quotes that sentence. Strange. Paul Palmer paulp@sonic.net March 22, 2018. 173.244.48.66 05:24, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is quoted in this entry. Expand the collapsible bit under the Verb section. However, I think it's under the wrong sense: this book seems to refer to putting a bolo (clothing) on someone, not stabbing them with a bolo knife! Equinox 12:36, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done Moved to new verb sense. I've marked it as a nonce word. Can anyone find any other usage? Equinox 14:24, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
