Rfv-sense: (British, pejorative) One who attempts to force a mutual organisation, such as a building society, to demutualise — to list on a stock exchange, solely for personal pecuniary advantage. This particularistic sense is a use of the general term in a particular instance. I could not find evidence of use where the term conveys this meaning. DCDuring TALK 16:15, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, it is covered to a large extent by sense 4. There has not been a demutualisation for maybe a decade now so references will be buried a bit.--MGSpiller 00:28, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
I have added cites. There is a big peak on Google News searches between 1999 & 2001 corresponding with the period when this happened. I have not removed the flags as I am not convinced that this is a separate sense to the more general sense 4 (& I'm out of practice with this stuff). --MGSpiller 01:07, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Where did you add these cites? I don't see them in the entry or on its citations page, neither of which you've ever edited … —RuakhTALK 02:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

RFV failed, sense removed. —RuakhTALK 02:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
