A Possible Additional Meaning[edit]

Climatology, as used in scientific literature usually refers to the state of the climate at a particular location. For example, often the climatologies of various regions are compared, or the mean climatology in terms of specific variables is referred to. The plural of climatology (climatologies) has little meaning in reference to the study of climate - since it can not be plural, but has a real meaning when used in terms of multiple spatial climatologies. Has it been considered that a second meaning be included in the definition? Benh 03:09, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
