rfc-sense: "Overcoming of a weakness." Not sure I know what this means. Is it a poorer worded version of #1? Mglovesfun (talk) 13:30, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- In general, for each literal or figurative use of the verb conquer, there is a corresponding sense of the noun conquest. In this figurative sense the verb is much more common, but the noun exists as well; see e.g. google books:"conquest of selfishness". —RuakhTALK 20:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
