Talk:crunk

How is this word supposed to be used in a sentence? Is it like the word, "drunk?"

For example, which of these is correct:

"I got crunk"

or

"I got crunked"

It isn't listed as a verb, implying that only the former would be "correct." One normally doesn't get "drunked." But since it is regional colloquial slang to begin with (i.e. "improper") you can use it however you want. --Connel MacKenzie 17:57, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conan O'Brien[edit]

Yes, Conan was using the word constantly in between-interview comedy bits, attempting to introduce/promulgate it as a "safe" alternative to curse words on the airwaves. This should be mentioned in the entry. 24.29.228.33 22:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see it appears to have been spelled with an initial K, not a C.[1]. 24.29.228.33 22:52, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1980s slang. Needs lots of work, including prep for RfV for the several PoSes and senses. DCDuring TALK 22:58, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Belatedly cleaned up. Open a new, non-stale RFC for any further issues. - -sche (discuss) 02:15, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
