Verb: to throw out a card[edit]

This phrasing seems ambiguous. It would be easy (especially for a non-native speaker) to misunderstand "throwing out a card" as dealing, i.e. throwing the card out to a player. How to rephrase? Equinox 03:49, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
