A number of older (published circa 1900) French-English dictionaries define it simply as "sweetish". I've asked a French speaker, User:Lmaltier, to weigh in. - -sche (discuss) 15:16, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, sweetish seems a better definition (but in a derogatory sense). The definition was not so bad, but too strong. Lmaltier (talk) 17:43, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
