Pronunciation[edit]
I think there should be a distinction in pronunciation between dowse = douse (to cover in water) /daʊs/ and dowse (to use a dowsing rod) /daʊz/. I'm not a native speaker, therefore I'm not sure about it and don't want to mess anything up.
