Isn't it a little silly that the example sentences for all three senses in French don't even use 'fille' but instead uses the plural 'filles'? No example of 'fille' used in a sentence -- including the actual singular articles or corresponding 3rd person singular verb conjugations -- to be found anywhere in this definition.
