Idiom[edit]

Is this an idiom? I mean there are five senses, but so what? Would ten toes be an idiom because human beings have ten toes? Mglovesfun (talk) 23:48, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm under the impression that this is an idiom because humans have more than five senses, the group of "sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch" being arbitrary since nociception, thermoception, etc. exist too. If "nine toes" meant "all toes except the big toe of the right foot", I'd support having an entry for nine toes, too. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 14:48, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
