Hoarseness or the need to cough seems quite insufficient, even incorrect. I have always known this term to mean something in the throat that causes a distorting effect on the sounds created. What this is medically, I don't know, but we always claimed it was "a bubble in the throat". Terraflora 18:41, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
