I was looking for a translation of the Piemontese noun Gadàn when I found this article. Piemontese is a dialect spoken in the north west area of Italy, with some similarities to French. The area has been inhabited for a long time by Celtic tribes mixed with the original Ligurian dwellers, probably of non-indoeuropean origin.
