Do both "purināt" and "kratīt" mean "shake"? The comma makes it hard to tell.

Definition 2: feathers is offered as a meaning, but there is no example. I suppose that's okay, but FWIW.

I don't understand how 3 is different from 1. Also, in modern times, we normally tie scarves around our necks, though some people tie them around their heads (=forehead area).

Number 4 seems to be an idiom. Can "galvu" mean "life" in other situations?

Number 5: We don't say "bright head" or "smart head." We don't say "a person with head."
