Talk:gimnázium

As I know középiskola is a general word for szakközépiskola, gimnázium and used to be for the former szakiskola, too. But not a synonym of gimnázium. If I said: középiskolás vagyok, I'd normally be asked, gimnazista vagy szakközép?. How should I show that here? Or rewrite? Ferike333 19:06, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

középiskola is a synonym of gimnázium. Synonyms most of the time do not have identical meanings. Another synonym of gimnázium is gimi according to Vilma Eőry's Értelmező szótár. I added the See also section with a link to Wikipedia where the secondary education in Hungary is explained in more detail. --Panda10 22:34, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
