Under what circumstances must the word especially be in italics? RJFJR 18:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When it is being cited as a foreign word. --EncycloPetey 18:26, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When it's not actually part of the definition, but only describing it. A hand-me-down isn't especially a piece of clothing or other item blah-blah-blah; rather, the term hand-me-down is especially used in reference to a piece of clothing or other item blah-blah-blah. —RuakhTALK 19:02, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
