But I don't think that sufficiently explains it's in-depth connotations. On the search of Wikipedia I found they have no page for the word, but they give some 500 pages of references of the words use, with up to 20 examples a page that could be up to 10,000 used examples quoted. Having read but a few I became confused as to its meaning.
I then searched VietDict the Vietnamese Dictionary that has the benefit of being very modern translation input to find a meaning, it also has an English - English Wordnet page that describes it as:-
A Noun: "the cheerful feeling you have when nothing is troubling you"
Now considering both explanations above I refer back to the reason I searched this word for meanings:- I had been rerading a Yahoo! News Story - "The Knack lead singer Doug Fieger dies". That story today quoted Figer as saying "My Sharona." Fieger said the song, with its pounding drums and exuberant vocals, was inspired by a girlfriend of four years. "I had never met a girl like her — ever," he told The Associated Press in a 1994 interview. "She induced madness. She was a very powerful presence. She had an insouciance that wouldn't quit. She was very self-assured. ... She also had an overpowering scent, and it drove me crazy."
It occurs to me This entry explanation of the noun more as a person's careless, heedless, indifference, or casual unconcern (a disposition of the party ajdective or even verb) as does the second suggestion of nonchalance. Whereas the VietDict explanation of the feeling one has would fit the Nown definition better in naming that "feelingPlease discuss and resolve Rob carter is exhausted trying.--203.99.250.126 04:37, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
