If this is a verb, why isn't the translation to holiday then? Not that I think that exists in English. Polyglot 07:28, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)

"Holiday" is a verb in English. It's easy to check with a Google search. Just search for the past and present participle forms. See if you get links to the definitions or a decent number of hits. In this case both have definitions and together there are 66,100 hits. I don't think the infinitive particle "to" is utterly essential as long as it's labelled as a verb. — 138.130.33.215 08:02, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
