Evidence?[edit]

Interesting - any evidence for this? I can't find any on Google. -- Paul G 16:26, 30 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

I've never heard of meef, but I've never heard a mongoose either. Like you say though, you'd expect there to be something on Google (Google search for meef), but the only thing it finds is from Wiktionary.
Well, that google search turns up this log and another, which have 'meef' twice used by an anthropomorphic mongoose, but this may be by chance (unless we give the authors credit enough to make the association) and doesn't seem to be any different to me from the more usual use of meef as an interjection of confusion or confused surprise. —Muke Tever 04:33, 31 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
A college classmate of mine used meef as an abreviation for "Me fuck up" (imagine caveman noises), but I'm not sure that warrants a wiktionary entry. This looks like a vanity/protologism to me. -dmh 05:17, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)
It looks really bad now, true. According to the history it was vandalized but never restored. The page now being seen is not the page that was then being discussed o_o I'll see about putting it back. —Muke Tever 17:45, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Okay, restored earlier sensible version. —Muke Tever 17:48, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)
