The English pronunciation should be a reflection of the correctly inflected pronunciation in French. Eg., "En Français." Plus since the IPA pronunciation is international it is language independent and free from needing translation. If I recall correctly there was a Looney Toons cartoon that started with the placard "La petite ville, n'est-ce pas?" over which a moment later a title appeared giving the "translation" of this as "The little village of Nasty Pass."
