What happened to the Old English word that would be equivalent to on-fang, as in catch on, or start? 75.121.183.70 09:17, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to written records there probably never was such an Old English term. That instead sounds a lot like the German anfangen, which is a totally different language altogether. Leasnam (talk) 09:24, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
